Our Alaska Pollock fillet portions are flash-frozen and individually vacuum-sealed in 1/3 to 1/2 pound packages. They are skinless, boneless, and portioned for your convenience.

Storing & Thawing:

Frozen, vacuum-sealed fillet portions can be stored in your freezer for several months. Rockfish fillets can be thawed under refrigeration about 12 hours before preparation. The vacuum-sealed packages can also be ran under cold water to speed this up considerably.

Fishery Info:

Most Alaska Pollock are sustainably harvested by trawlers that tow a large cone-shaped net through the mid-water. Pollock are also commonly harvested using trawl nets, gillnets, bottom longlines, and rod and reel. Gillnets, longlines, and rod and reel used to harvest pollock have little to no impact on habitat. Areas closures and gear restrictions reduce habitat impacts from trawl nets. All Alaska pollock are wild-caught.
