Our Pubhouse halibut fillets are flash-frozen and vacuum-sealed in 1 pound packages. The fillets are 2 to 3 ounces each and there are approximately 4 to 5 fillets per 1 lb. package.
Frozen, vacuum-sealed, Pubhouse battered halibut fillets can be stored in your freezer for several months. The battered fillets can be thawed under refrigeration about 12 hours before preparation. The vacuum-sealed packages can also be ran under cold water to speed this up considerably.
An average serving size of Pubhouse battered halibut fillets would be about one half pound.

Alaskan fishermen catch halibut sustainably, using long-lining fishing methods, which minimizes by-catch, and is regulated under strict harvest limits & regulations.
