Parmesan Halibut

  • 2 lbs Halibut Fillets
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon
  • fresh Parmesan Cheese, shredded or grated


This is the simplest recipe EVER! Just mix equal parts sour cream and mayo, add the lemon juice, then slather it on the halibut fillets and bake at 375°F degrees for about 15-20 minutes (depending on the size of the fillets). During the last 5 minutes of baking, add the Parmesan cheese to the top of fillets, and as soon as the cheese starts to turn golden, it's done! Serve it with fresh grilled veggies and a salad, and wa-la! A yummy dinner.

My Mom got this recipe from an Alaskan fishing boat captain about 10 years ago...and it continues to be our families FAVORITE and easiest way to eat halibut. It's probably not very healthy...but gosh it's GOOD!
