Our Copper River sockeye salmon tail portions are flash-frozen and individually vacuum-sealed in 4 to 8 oz. packages. They are boneless and skinless.
Our vacuum-sealed, frozen Copper River sockeye salmon tail portions can be stored in your freezer for several months. The salmon tails can be thawed under refrigeration about 12 hours before preparation. The vacuum-sealed packages can also be ran under cold water to speed up the thawing process considerably.
An average serving size of sockeye salmon would be one half pound, however, due to the richness of this salmon a smaller portion size may be desired.
