Our Copper River sockeye salmon premium portions are flash-frozen and individually vacuum-sealed in 1/3 lb. to 2/3 lb. packages.
Frozen, vacuum-sealed Copper River sockeye salmon fillet portions can be stored in your freezer for several months. The salmon fillets can be thawed under refrigeration about 12 hours before preparation. The vacuum-sealed packages can also be ran under cold water to speed up the thawing process considerably.
An average serving size of Copper River sockeye salmon would be 1/2 pound, however because of the richness of Copper River salmon, a smaller portion size may be desired.
