This product ships frozen with dry ice and is ready to be held in your freezer. When you're ready to prepare, make sure to thaw under refrigeration for 12 to 24 hours prior to your meal.
*Note: King crab legs are prone to breakage during shipping. As a policy - we do not pack broken pieces, and we do pack it carefully, but please be aware that FishEx is not responsible for any breakage that occurs during shipping.

This item delivers overnight via FedEx, from Alaska. You may choose your delivery date during checkout. Orders placed before 9am Alaska Time (M - Th) can be delivered as soon as tomorrow.
Shipping Cost:
FishEx ships all orders via FedEx, at a flat rate low cost of $39*. However, orders of $400 or more qualify for FREE* shipping.
*Some (rural) areas require PRIORITY Flat-Rate shipping, which costs $68. HAWAII Flat-Rate shipping costs $89. All major US cities qualify for FREE shipping on orders over $400. Rural zones & Hawaii do not qualify for free shipping, but will receive a $39 credit when the order value is over $400.

Our split red king crab legs are pre-cooked & flash-frozen. They are glazed for protection from the freezer, and packaged in clear plastic bags for easy freezer storage.
Frozen split king crab legs can be stored in your freezer for several months. To thaw king crab legs & claws, place them in the refrigerator a day prior to cooking. Rinse quickly under cold running water, to remove any lingering freezing brine. Left-over king crab should be kept under refrigeration and consumed within a couple of days.
3 pounds of king crab will serve 2 to 3 people easily when you're serving additional entreés. If you're having a crab feast or are serving a group of crab lovers, 6 pounds would be good for 3 people. We recommend 1 to 2 pounds per person for an amazing crab feast.
King Crab is low in fat and calories, and is an excellent source of protein being much leaner than the same amount of beef. Additionally, King crab is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and contains no carbohydrates, saturated fats or trans fats. King crab legs are also nutrient-dense, making them a good source of vitamin C, folate, vitamin B12, as well as magnesium, phosphorus, selenium, zinc and copper.
