Additional Product Info

Packaging:

Our Alaska scallops are frozen and vacuum-sealed in 1.25 lb. packages. They are shucked, cleaned, and ready to be prepared after thawing. These jumbo scallops are U-12 count, which means there are 12 or less scallops per pound. Cases contain 16 packages (1.25 lbs each).

Storing & Thawing:

Frozen scallops can be stored in your freezer for several months. Frozen scallops can be thawed under refrigeration about 12 to 16 hours before preparation. The vacuum-sealed packages can also be ran under cold water to speed this up considerably

Serving Suggestions:

A one pound package of scallops would be good for 3 to 4 people. That would serve 2 to 3 jumbo scallops per person.
