Product Info

Packaging:

Our Wild Alaska king salmon fillets are frozen and individually vacuum-sealed in 4 to 8 oz. packages. They are boneless and skinless for your dining convenience.

Storing & Thawing:

Our frozen, vacuum-sealed Alaska king salmon fillet portions can be stored in your freezer for several months. The salmon fillets can be thawed under refrigeration about 12 hours before preparation. The vacuum-sealed packages can also be ran under cold water to speed up the thawing process considerably.

Serving Sizes:

An average serving size of king salmon would be one half pound, however because of the richness of king salmon, a smaller portion size may be desired.

Health Benefits:

Wild Alaskan king salmon hold an abundant amount of high-quality protein, along with very high levels of heart-smart Omega-3 fatty acids. They also abound in vitamin D and the beneficial red-orange, carotenoid-class antioxidant pigment called astaxanthin. Additionally, king salmon is a good source of Vitamin A, B6, B & E, along with appreciable amounts of calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium, and phosphorus.

Description

  • Forward, premium fillet cuts only
  • Moist & succulent
  • Avg 1/2 to 1 pound per portion.

These thick, center-cuts are hand-filleted, removed of pin-bones, and portioned out of the thickest section of the fillet.

King salmon is not only prized for it's taste, but also it's amazing texture and overwhelming health benefits. Being the largest salmon in Alaska, this fish stores up more Omega-3 fatty acids than any other type of salmon, giving it a rich flavor and beautiful marbling.

Our center-cut portions of wild Alaska king salmon cook even & consistent, and make for the best plate presentation every time!
