Our wild Alaska Coho salmon tail portions are flash-frozen and individually vacuum-sealed in 1/4 to 1/2 lb. packages. Tail portions are generally boneless.
Our frozen, vacuum-sealed Alaska Coho salmon tail portions can be stored in your freezer for several months. The salmon tails can be thawed under refrigeration about 12 hours before preparation. The vacuum-sealed packages can also be ran under cold water to speed up the thawing process considerably.
An average serving size of Coho salmon would be 1/3 to 1/2 pound.
