Our whole-cooked Dungeness crab weigh between 2 to 2.5 lbs each. Whole Dungeness crab are flash-frozen and packaged in clear plastic bags for easy freezer storage.
Frozen Dungeness crab can be kept in a freezer for several months due to a protective water glaze. To thaw Dungeness crab, place them in the refrigerator a day prior to cooking. Left-over Dungeness crab should be kept under refrigeration and consumed within a couple of days.
Alaska Dungeness crab is an excellent source of high-quality protein, containing all of the essential amino acids, while low in fat and calories.
