Our Alaska Dungeness Crab clusters average about 1/3 to 1/2 pound each. The Dungeness crab clusters are flash-frozen and packaged in a clear plastic bag for easy freezer storage.
Frozen Dungeness Crab clusters can be kept in a freezer for several months due to their protective water glaze. To thaw Dungeness Crab clusters, place them in the refrigerator a day prior to cooking. Leftover Dungeness Crab should be kept under refrigeration and consumed within a couple of days.
About 3 pounds of Dungeness Crab will serve 2 to 3 people easily if you're serving with additional entrees. If you're having a crab feast for a group, 1 & 1/2 pounds per person would be a good start.
