Medium Alaska Sidestripe Shrimp
Our Sidestripe shrimp come headless, shell-on, with tails and are packaged in clear plastic bags or boxes. Sidestripe shrimp are usually medium in size and have a count of about 30 to 40 per pound.
Our frozen, vacuum-sealed, Sidestripe shrimp can be stored in your freezer for several months. Sidestripe shrimp can be thawed under refrigeration about 12 hours before preparation. The vacuum-sealed packages can also be ran under cold water to speed this up considerably.
A one pound package of medium Sidestripe shrimp (30-40 count) would be good for 2 to 3 people if serving with other entree additions. That would serve around 10 to 15 shrimp per person.
