Our fresh Alaska cod fillet is skinless, boneless, and cut into 1/3 to 1 pound portions. Fresh Alaska cod is shipped overnight, directly to you, and arrives much faster, and fresher than cod that you might get at the grocery store.
Fresh Alaska cod should be enjoyed within 2 or 3 days of delivery to your home. As with all fresh fish, store in a shallow pan or tray on the bottom shelf of your refrigerator. Tip: You can prolong the shelf life fresh seafood by placing a bag of ice cubes directly on top of it (make sure that the fish does not sit in a pool of melted water).
About 1/3 to 1/2 pound per person is a good portion size for fresh cod fillet.
